Island Green Motors is the creation of five entrepreneurs, Brooks McLaren, George Klopfer, Dean Tassio, and Phil and Nancy Bunch. Their original inspiration was that electric vehicles (EVs) are ideally suited to island markets, where typically road speeds are low, driving distances are short, the weather is temperate and imported gasoline is expensive.

The vision of Island Green Motors is to help complete the coming transformation of local energy economies to a 100% green, non-polluting future. IGM has developed two electric scooter models which are well suited for tourists and residents alike.

We are also completing the development of two electric SUV models. IGM expects to initiate production of these products for Caribbean area distribution in 2012 and 2013.
